L70 Linear Ball Screw System Technical Data

The L70 Ball Screw linear system is available in a standard commercial grade and a precision grade. The standard commercial grade uses a rolled ball screw. The precision grade uses a ground ball screw and is built to the accuracy and performance requirements of the customer. The performance data is for the standard commercial grade system.

The unique “L” shape of the L70 makes it ideal for a Z axis, or 2 units mate together in a number of configurations to form an X-Y or X-Y-Z unit. It is also used on gantry type applications with the HLD or XL100 units. This is a good choice for travel under 600 mm. The system is complete, easy to apply, and has an unmatched price/performance ratio.

Comments:

  1. The L70 system includes the Animatics SmartMotor™ model SM2315DT as standard. Other Animatics SmartMotors™ in NEMA frame sizes 17 and 23 are available. For motor performance ratings see the data on the SmartMotors™. Motor mounts are available for NEMA frame sizes 17 and 23.
  2. The L70 system with SmartMotor™ integrates the following into one system:
    • The linear ball screw system components
    • Brushless DC Servo Motor
    • Encoder
    • Amplifier
    • Controller with microprocessor
    • I/O, 5 V with 24 V. available with accessory cable.
    • Network capability
    • Firmware.
    • Integrated brake option
  3. Accessories are available including power supplies, cables, 24V I/O conversion cable, and many more including two choices of low cost excellent CND software packages
